TcSUH Annual Student Research Symposium
56th TCSUH Student Research Symposium

Time: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Location: Houston Science Center – Building 593 — Room 102
Overview
All members of TcSUH are encouraged to attend the 56th Student Symposium. The day will consist of a series of 15-minute presentations, with a 5-minute Q&A representing novel lab work by TcSUH graduate students. First Prize (One prize): $600; Second Prize (two prizes), $300; Third Prize (three prizes): $200. Judges have been selected from TCSUH Faculty members. Prizes will be awarded based on originality of research (25%), quality of research (25%), quality of presentation (25%), and skillful use of visual aids (25%). In the interest of fairness, the judges' decisions will be normalized so that undergraduates and graduates can compete on an equal footing. Cash prizes will not be presented at the Symposium. The winners will receive their cash prize as a supplement to their paycheck.

55th Semiannual TCSUH Spring Student Symposia

All members of TcSUH are encouraged to attend the 56th Student Symposium. Cash Prizes and opportunities for Student Travel Grants will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. A symposium program, including the schedule and abstracts for each presentation, will be provided at the door.
