Overview
Expanding Impedance Spectroscopy to follow the evolution of Energy Storage Systems
Biography
Robert Sacci is an electrochemist in the Energy Storage and Conversion Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his PhD from the University of Victoria in Canada in 2012, and started at ORNL in 2013 as a post-doc. Electrochemistry is by nature nanoscaled, and as such resolved chemical information at surfaces is difficult to separate from bulk solution, therefore, his research has centered on developing and applying new techniques to probe reactions and structures that occur/form at interfaces in real time. He is a key developer of time-resolved impedance spectroscopy technique.
